9-22-11 UPDATE
Hello All! I haven't posted onto this site in a while, and there's
a couple reasons. I've been working more on my deviant art site
and fx blog, so if you're looking for some new stuff take a look
there. Currently working on a personal piece on deviant art, but
its also going to be delayed. I'm going to be out of the U.S. for
work until the new year, so I won't be posting anytihng until then.

3-15-11 UPDATE
Hello All! Well its been a long time since I've updated. I'd meant
to do it more often, but work and stuff got in the way. I'm posting
a personal piece I did of my WOW character. Its fan art., I haven't
done anything fanish for a long time, so this was a nice change
of pace. take a look see.

Hello All! I guess I've been away from my web page for a while,
and its for good reason. I've picked up and moved me and my family
to Brooklyn, NY from Madison, WI. It was quite a move, but now I'm
back on line and ready to go.
In the interem, I've managed to work on a different site for my
day job. Its here http://fhoopfx.blogspot.com/
I'm putting it on my main page under my DVA link, so take a
look if you have a moment.
I've also finished a script for a comic that I've been batting
around for a long time, and I'm going to start doing some prelim
artwork for it. The convergence piece in the color gallery is the
baseline... The focus has changed a bit but the characters have
remained somewhat intact. Well I've got to get going, until next

Oh and Jonathan, If you didn't get a response e-mail from me please

4-15-10 COMIC
Hey all! Woah another update in less than a month... what's going
on here? Couple things!
I've added the Bastard Road piece I worked on for Dave Curd and
co. Its on a nifty link on the right. Also to find out more about

Also I've got another link for yas. A comic of supa-talented artist
Andy Trabbold called Crusaders: The Book of Night. Its pretty amazing

Well I apoligize for the delay and my lack of posting, I've been
finishing up Singularity, and I've been out of the art loop for
a little bit. I haven't been working a lot outside of Raven Software
lately because of the crunch for Singularity and my need to stay
sane. I have a post today and another one coming up shortly. Today's
is a contest piece for the
DeviantArt's Darksider's contest that posted a while
ago. Soon I'll be posting something for the Bastard
Road comic, but I'll have that coming as soon as I finish. Its
90% in the bag right now, but there is no deadline and like i mentioned
earlier... Crunch for Sing... anyway The update is on the right.

Did some clean up in the Video Game gallery. I changed the personal
projects tab to GameArtisans ComiCon Challenge 09 tab, since it
made more sense. I'm reworking some of the frames so the links will
go directly to the page instead of what it does now, which is put
you on the main gallery page when it clicks thru. In the mean time
I've marked where the updates are so you can go there directly.
I've also removed the SOF 2 stuff, since Its last last last gen
and its not too exciting to look at. I'll be posting a model soon,
but its low poly and I'm still working on the zbush mesh...

Hey all, I just finished up a contest on gameartisans.org
the comicon
challenge. You had to select a comic book character
and (if you were doing the 2d challenge) you needed to draw a hero
shor, a model sheet, and supply a work sheet of the hero shot. I
picked Naruto, since I really like the series and I thought the
latest version of the character was pretty cool. Take a look at
them here
on the forum or in the video game gallery and the color gallery.
Other than that, I'm off Singularity and am now working on an unannounced
title at Raven Software. It's gonna be sweet.
Also, I'm going to start posting some new stuff (with models, GASP)
of a project I'm working on with A friend at work as well as another
project that will be ongoing for me involving concept to completion
of a whole scene.

UPDATE
Wow, its been a long time since I've updated
the site. I apologize for the delay, but I've been working like
mad on Singularity. Regretably I wasn't able to finish up some contests
I was working on for Dominance War 4 and the darksiders tribute
book respectively.
I've updated the site with some new pices
I worked on for Dungeons and Dragons 4th edition Eberron Campaign
Guide on the right. Click thru for some new pieces.
Over the last couple months, Justin J finished
up his tattoo and here's the final result. He's been keeping me
updated on this since he started. Sorry for the long delay on that
Justrin. The tattoo looks awesome!

Hey All! Happy Valentine's
day and stuff. I've just finished up some work on Eberron 4th edition
for Dungeons and Dragons, I'll be posting it as soon as it prints...
later this year. sigh... also I'm working on a submission for UDON's
darkstalker tribute. As soon as I can post that... I will too...
Dominance War is coming up later this month.
I'll be entering it either as a concepter or a modeller... I'm not
sure which, since it all happens when I'm going to be spending some
long hours on Singularity. As soon as anything new comes up I'll
post it here and on devinat art.

Hey All! I finally have my originals and
some older prints up at an on line shop for sale... I know it has
taken forever...The site for original and older prints is
here: FredHooperArt.etsy.com
The store accepts paypal and all credit cards. The site with the
new prints will be up shortly... I'll be detailing all the info
on the new and updated for sale site. All transactions for original
art and prints will be done thru etsy since its more convenient
for everyone.
I'll be setting up the new prints through deviant art. They will
print prints from a case by case basis. I don't have it set up yet,
but I will be up and running soon soon.

1-17-09 UPDATE
Happy (belated) New Year! Some cool stuffs
happening in 2009, so lets get started!
First! I'm going to be unveiling some for
sale prints through a third party site soon. There will be originals,
prints, and printed canvasses for sale. I may even have other things
for sale as well, but I'm still working that out. The for sale buttion
and page will be returning with details.
Also, I can't post anything professional
I'm working on now, but in the meantime I'll be posting personal
artwork here until some of the printed stuff prints.

Lastly the game I'm working on at Raven (Singularity)

Hellooooo! I've been a bit busy, so the
